Since Cody is pulling up on so many things now, I decided to get 2 of Austin's old table toys out of the attic, and then change his excersaucer into a 'walk-behind'. I did all this while the boys were napping. Austin got up first and was ecstatic to see the new stuff to play with and had a hay-day messing with it all. Soon after, Cody woke up and was excited as well! They both had a great time playing and Cody got the hang of the walk-behind quickly! I got 3 clips of him using it and they are added to the end of the video I just put in the sidebar (as well as several other clips) so be sure to watch! Bedtime was a little more dramatic than the last 3 nights tonight. Austin took a good 2 hours to fall asleep. He has these Rudolph bell ornaments on his tree, and at about 9:15 while Scott and I were watching TV, we heard 'jingle jingle jingle' from his room. Then, when Scott went to get the Howards key to go and let their dog in, Austin said, "HEY! HEY YOU!" because Scott ignored him standing in the doorway of his room. Scott and I continued to ignore him until we headed to bed at 9:45. Austin was frustrated I guess because we have him double-gated so he can't climb over, and then we don't acknowledge him, so he decided to throw his pacifier over the gate and start screaming about it. Scott walked by on the way to our room and ignored him again. I couldn't do it though, because I knew he would yell at the top of his lungs FOREVER. So, as I walked by, I grabbed his pacifier and instead of giving it back to him, I threw it over the gate and into his bed. He ran to his bed, climbed in, grabbed the pacifier, and stayed in bed. He fell asleep quickly after that one!
