Welp, I turned 31 today. It was like any other day, accept I'm now another year older. Austin woke me up at 7:15 asking for his cup, a breakfast bar, and his toys. Cody followed 30 seconds later. Scott left for practice, and the day started as usual! Both kids were great today. Cody took an almost 3 hour morning nap (I think it was because it was dark and rainy outside) and Austin and I got to play a lot. I am trying to get Austin's potty routine back in check. With all the craziness, he had about one pee accident a day and sometimes skipped pooping for a whole day. So, now that things are back to normal, I am working on getting back to 'accident-free' days. I just have to ask him all the time if he needs to go potty, instead of him telling me. It's ok, just a small bump in the road. The good thing is, he gets really upset when he does have an accident. I'd worry if he didn't care! Anyway, we stayed in all day today. I did laundry (when do I NOT do laundry?) and when Scott got home from watching a recruit play a game in a tournament nearby, we all went to Marianos. It was yummy and both kids acted great. We stopped by Jinni's apartment for a few minutes afterwards. She gave Austin a really cool book and I got a Starbucks gift card for my birthday (along with the funniest card I have ever seen). YAY! When we got home, I gave Cody a bath and put him to bed while Scott and Austin played. Scott gave Austin a bath and then they got out my sweet cream and Oreo ice cream cake! They sang happy birthday to me, we had some cake, and then it was time for Austin to go to bed. Scott gave me my present tonight. He got me $140 gift card to Sanford Spa!!! I have been wanting one there for at least 2 years now and he finally came through!!! I can't wait to pick out what I want. I know I want a facial and pedicure, and I might save the rest for later. By the way, I took a picture of Austin's bed tonight to show how organized Scott is when it comes to bath and bedtime. He gets Austin's room ready before he gives him a bath by closing his curtains, turning on his fan, then laying out his pjs, a diaper, and his box of lotions and stuff. He also puts his Raffi and pacifier right next to everything on the bed so Austin can have it right away. By the way, I have finally posted on my Just Jen page!!!! Happy reading!
