My New Snot Toy

I know all you guys might be laughing your heads off in a minute, but when you are me, and dealing with 3 seriously snotty noses at the same time, you do things like this.  I saw one of these in a magazine a few weeks ago and thought to myself, "yeah right...that thing would be a waste of money and wouldn't work any better than what I've got".  But after 2 days of cleaning up MASSIVE amounts of boogers, I was at my wits end.  Austin blows his nose very well, but Cody and Tyler are a different story.  With Brutus, I have to chase him down, pin his arms down with my knees, slightly sit on top of him, and try to suck his nose out while he's shaking his head like crazy back and forth...it's not pretty...snot's flying everywhere, and he's screaming his head off.  Tyler is easier, but can now grab and swat at things with his hands, while shaking HIS head and screaming like crazy too, and although he's much easier to deal with than Cody, once again, it's not pretty.  Today I purchased this item for $19.99 at Babiesrus after reading a ton of great reviews about it online last night that said it DID work better than the bulb, and that the kids didn't mind it at all.  I figured, if it sucked (haha), than I could take it back.  Well, it works.  Like a charm.  Cody and Tyler even thought it was FUN.  After already using it several times in the past 3 hours, I've decided that it was WELL WORTH the $19.99.  It even plays music to distract the kid!  Click here to read about it!

I dont think it is crazy at all. I tried to tell Heath we needed one too. He didnt think it would work, and I was skeptical as well. I am glad to know that you like it.

Wow, where was this thing when Kaelyn was a baby. Uh, wait a minute, she STILL fights me when it comes to snot and boogers. I may have to invest in one of those at her tender age of 3. I'm glad you found it and told us about it. Sounds like everyone should own one. Hmm, wonder if it will work on Todd??!!! Brutus and his little scenario...now that is hilarious!

FINALLY, I'm COMPLETELY caught up on all the blogging I've missed recently. Yes, your inbox is full of emails showing all the comments I've made and yes, my name is on every comment in the recent comments spot but as soon as you blog again that will be corrected :)
