Goodbye Fever & Hello Teeth!

Although Cody woke up once and Tyler woke up three times last night, I slept like a champ.  My husband was home!  Scott got up with the kids this morning and let me sleep in until 8.  Tyler woke up soon after I did, and wasn't in a particularly great mood, but his fever was GONE and that was something to celebrate.  He didn't have one when I put him to bed last night, but I worried that it would come back as he slept.  Hopefully, it is gone for GOOD.  Today was the 'sore throat day' for him, and since he is so little, I don't know if he did have one, but I can tell you that he didn't eat much, didn't want to drink much, and still wanted to be held all day, which means that he is still NOT completely well.  During one of his many tantrums today, I put him down on the changing table, and since he was going crazy and his mouth was wide open, I noticed that he had cut 2 new teeth!  They had JUST come through...so not only was my poor baby sick, he was cutting 2 teeth at the same time!  He has got 4 teeth on top, and then his 'fangs' aren't in yet, so it is the next ones that came through.  Needless to say, Tyler took ONE nap today, despite being really tired, and it was from 11:30-1.  That is it.  He refused to lay down the rest of the day.  Sooooo, Tyler was in bed (and happy about it) at 6:40.  Now, on to the other two boys...all I have to say is that Austin and Cody are back to their old selves, and it wasn't pretty today.  The combination of being well, and cabin fever, was NOT good.  The first incident occurred at 8:45am, when Cody got irritated with Austin, balled his little fist up, put his arm back, and punched Austin across the face.  And the kicker was, Scott's new assistant, Greg Young, had just stepped into our house to meet the fam, and this was the first thing he witnessed.  Scott hopped on it and took Cody kicking and screaming to timeout, and I was like, "Welcome to our home Coach Young, nice to meet you."  Yeah.  Luckily, he could care less and explained that he grew up with a brother and that they beat the crap out of each other on a regular basis so it was ok.  Anywho, that set the tone of our day.  Sarah came over and I took Austin to lunch, went back to the hospital to pick up my driver's license and insurance card that I left there the other day, took Austin to speech therapy, and ran to the store for a few items.  The rest of the day was spent trying to keep Austin and Cody from taking swings at each other, and holding a grumpy Tyler.  I ended the day with giving baths in the baby pool and serving leftover spaghetti.  The funniest part of the day was that Austin saw that we had a Michael Jackson's Greatest Video Hits DVD, requested to watch it, and then proclaimed that it was the "most awesome movie he has 'EBER' seen" and that it was "his favorite new movie".  He also asked me why Michael Jackson turned white, why he turned into a girl, and why his hair kept changing.  My mom told me to just tell him that that is exactly what happens when you use drugs!  HA!  Anyway, it was really amusing to also hear Austin keep singing "you know I'm BAD, I'm BAD, you know it!" all day.  I have no new pictures today.  I don't think I even picked up the camera!
