Today's Highlights So Far:

• Austin went with his daddy to work, and is a VERY HAPPY boy today.
• I only had to take 2 kids to Target...ahhhh...so easy.
• Cody pooped in the potty AGAIN.
• I was able to dust, vacuum, fold laundry and clean toilets because Cody and Tyler play and there is a minimal amount of fighting at their age.
• My mom and dad are on the road and should arrive by about 2:30.  YAY!

Cody's 1st POO POO in the Potty!

Scott got home at about 11:30 last night.  This morning, Cody gave him a 4 minute hug-seriously.  After breakfast today, I knew Cody was going to have to go #2.  So, I stripped him down naked so he couldn't go in his pants, and put his potty out on the floor.  Scott was on the eliptical and I was folding clothes in our bedroom.  Cody/naked boy, was in and out playing and running around.  All of a sudden, Austin comes running in our bedroom yelling that Cody had pooped in his potty.  Scott and I looked at each other like "what?" and proceeded to walk into the den and look in his potty...sure enough, there it was!  We all went NUTS.  Cody looked so proud of himself...he was just BEAMING.  We made a HUGE deal about it all day.  It was awesome to see the proud smile on Cody's face everytime we talked about it.  Hopefully, he will continue to go in the potty.  All we had today was Austin's speech therapy appointment.  It rained a few short times today.  I wanted to run up to the mall to get some wedding presents out of the way, but I put Tyler down for his morning nap at 9:30, and the kids slept until almost 12:30!
Yesterday, Raven, Harry and Langston came over to play in the morning.  Harry is in Austin's class at school, and Raven has come before and picked up Austin to take him over to her house to play for a few hours (and even fed him) twice now when the other boys were sick.  She has been a huge help.  The boys had fun.  I wish that Austin would've taken a nap in the afternoon because he was SO TIRED, but he didn't, and the rest of the day was not a good one to say the least.  We met Rachel and the boys in the afternoon and I am not going to even talk about all the poopy stuff that happened...
Anywho, I don't have any pictures, well, except for the one of Cody's first poo in the potty from this morning, but I will refrain from posting it!  I am REALLY excited for tomorrow.  My mom and dad will be coming up and spending the weekend here!  Scott and I have 2 weddings to attend Satuday at 11:30 and 3 (Scott is in the first one) and they are going to have the boys pretty much all day.

Narration of Pictures...again.

Austin and Cody were playing with the massive toad that lives in our backyard...they LOVED it when the fat thing decided to finally hop!

Nothing like starting our day with a computer conversation with Gammie and Pappy...they even played music, danced around and acted goofy for the boys!  Austin and Cody cracked up!

Ball bellies and potty time in front of the TV...I was hoping Cody would get relaxed enough...it didn't work, well, he peed in it a ton, just not the result I REALLY wanted...

I got Tyler some shoes since there were no hand-me-downs in the size he needed from his big brothers.  He was confused and bothered by them, but Austin helped him around like a great big brother, and he smiled at that!

New Favorite Toy: Pineapple Cutter!

I saw this in the Harriet Carter magazine, here is the link, and HAD to order it to give it a shot.  We eat a lot of pineapple around here, but I HATE cutting them because it takes so long and the pineapple is gone so fast!  I tried it today and LOVE IT!

Sunday in a Nutshell!

• Got woken up this morning by a very fever-free, enthusiastic and HUNGRY Cody.  I have no idea what all the fever was about but hey, I am rolling with it because my kid is fine!
• Scott called and said he was on his way to the airport to try and catch an earlier flight (he wasn't supposed to arrive until midnight).  Then he called back to tell me that it wasn't looking good and that he was 11th in line and the flight that just left took no one in front of him.
• Hung out all morning (took some video of Austin dancing-look below) and then everyone took naps!
• During naptime, Scott called me from the airport in Las Vegas to tell me that he got on a flight and was boarding.  It was arriving at 4:30!
• The kids got up from their nap and I informed them that we had to leave to go and pick up their daddy!  Austin was so excited that he literally ran laps, Cody jumped up and down, and Tyler didn't have a clue what the hell I was talking about, but clapped his hands anyway.
• We went and picked up Scott and Coach Young, came home, and Scott grilled burgers.  We played in the backyard for a while...well, I sat, Scott played with Cody and Austin, and Tyler played at my feet with the water hose.
• And that is it!  Scott leaves around 10am tomorrow for Houston and will be back on Wednesday night for good.  He will attend another tournament in Dallas for the last 2 days of the recruiting period and is DONE on August 1st. GOODNIGHT!

Walking Video

I think I have mentioned it before, but I have not been able to get ANY footage of Tyler walking.  He will not cooperate, and literally plops down on his behind the minute I pull out a camera.  So, I thought since Jinni was here this morning, that I would enlist in her help to try and get Tyler to walk and film it!  It was SO frustrating and funny all at the same time.  We could hardly ever get him to walk, and when he finally started to, Austin (and then Cody) began to sabotage all the attempts!  Ha!  Here is the collection of like 8 tiny clips I took today...he is walking in SOME of them!  At least I tried!

Mysterious Fever #2

Last night (Friday), Anick, Alexis and Autumn stayed for dinner.  We had a great time and the kids had a ball playing in the backyard and pool.  Cody seemed fine, but suddenly his mood changed at about 7.  He wanted me to hold him, and became very whiney. I thought he was just tired and so I took him straight inside for a bath.  When I picked him up to put him to bed, I noticed he felt warm.  I took his temperature and sure enough, he was running a 100 degree fever.  I was shocked.  Cody had been fine all day.  I started thinking about it after putting him to bed though, and thought he might be cutting his molars.  He has been putting his hands in his mouth and is chewing on things constantly, just in the past couple of weeks.  Well, this morning he woke up hot, and sure enough, the thermometer read 102.  He was not himself, and didn't want to eat...just wanted to sit and watch tv.  I even put him down for a morning nap when I laid Tyler down, and he slept for 2 hours.  Jinni had come over with breakfast and coffee (she is THE BEST).  When I heard Cody wake up, I prayed his fever would be gone, but he was still hot.  I even told Jinni to feel him and she agreed that he was really warm...it was still 102!  Cody finally ate a little around lunch time, and his fever started going down...he even got a little crazy for a while and played.  By the time I put the boys down for their afternoon nap at 1:30, Cody had no fever.  It stayed that way until right after his bath, when I went to feel him and he was warm again, this time with 101.5.  UGH!  He is showing NO OTHER SYMPTOMS.  Cody is not puking, there is no diarrhea, no congestion, no pulling on the ears...nothing.  I just can't figure it out.  I really hope that he is fine by tomorrow.  I just checked on him and he has no fever, so I hope it stays that way.
