I feel like I need to post about this because it is a special day to Scott and I, and it was a crazy day this week! Our 8th wedding anniversary was Tuesday the 7th, and I hardly thought about it because not only was Scott gone, but honestly, you all know I was dealing with more important issues like poor sick babies. Scott and I got to celebrate it before he left anyway. However, I do have some things to say when reflecting on our anniversary...
Scott and I have been through a lot, just like anyone else that is married! Ha! Our journey started in September of 1995, and we have literally done our fair share of growing up together. Looking back on when we started, we are SO DIFFERENT now, and I can't help but think how cool it is that you can be with someone, and both change so much over the years, but still stay together! It ain't easy! HA! But, we have done it, and we have three awesome boys to show for it. We are great friends and still have fun just hangin' out together. We share the same friends, most of which have known us since we were first dating. We have a TON of things in common, something I feel is a must for a couple to survive. We have done a lot of cool things and have had some great adventures, most of which have involved making a home and a family. We have a lot of things we want to do as a couple and with the kids in years to come, and I am looking forward to every minute of it. And most importantly, we are still in love!

Awww, how sweet Jen! That was amazing. I think it's wonderful and wish you and Scott a lifetime of Happiness! It's nice to know there are still other couples that value the meaning of marriage and strive to make it the best they can. Still being in love is great isn't it!!!
