Liv had her 9 month check up on Monday: she is 28 1/4 inches long - 75% and 20 lbs - 75%. The doctor said she is going great. Liv is not crawling, but she is definitely trying. I bet by Thanksgiving we will be child proofing the house because she is all over the place. She loves to walk holding on to your hands and she is really starting to pull herself up on everything. She definitely has her father's temper! haha It's more like a little of both of us, so you can imagine how mad she gets! She is our little bundle of joy, we have so much fun! Oh Liv's first halloween, she had a great time seeing all the little kids in their costumes. I thought she might get scared but she didn't, she just sat in her stroller taking everything in. We walked around with the Cross family in their neighborhood, the weather was perfect! Liv was the cutest little monkey! Enjoy the pictures!

Olivia has sprouted two teeth, both are in the front on the bottom row! She got her first one last weekend and the second one this weekend. The first tooth was a challenge, she was grumpy and didn't sleep well at all. I didn't even know she got the second one until saturday when I thought she had something in her mouth. I put my finger in there and found the second tooth! She is doing great, we have her 9 month check up in a couple of weeks, I'm excited to see how much she has grown the past couple of months. She has started to go up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth but is not crawling. You can tell she wants to crawl but she does not have the whole crawling thing figured out yet. She loves to walk all around the house while holding your hands, I thought she was going to skip crawling and go right to walking but it looks like she might take up crawling first. Olivia will pull herself up to the kneeling position but not to her feet yet, she will pull herself up to her feet if she is holding on to your hands. She is always talking, the words she says are still at da da, bah bah and sometimes she spits out daddy. Otherwise she is just constantly jabbering something. Enjoy the pictures!!

Olivia is growing so fast, she has started to say dada and baba but no mama yet. It sounds like she is trying to say more words now and not just making noises. She is still trying to pull herself up on things, I'm sure she will have that down in another month or so. She is standing up very well and even taking a few more steps when you try and walk with her. No crawling yet, she rolls all over the place, hopefully she will get frustrated with that soon so she will be interested in crawling. I have started giving Liv some cut up bananas and other fruits, it's so funny to watch her try new foods. The fruits are too slimy for her to pick up so I have to feed them to her. She is not too crazy about bananas yet, but she likes pears and peaches. Over the weekend Ryan's cousin, Jason Ramey and newly wife, Lauren got married out in Granbury. Despite the 1 1/2 hour drive to Granbury it was a beautiful wedding. They got married on a little Ranch, the ceremony was outdoors and and it was a beautiful evening, the sun set was gorgeous, I'm sure there pictures turned out amazing. Liv looked adorable! Enjoy the pictures!

Liv got to see the UTA Maverick's Volleyball team in action over the weekend. They had there first home pre-season volleyball tournament. I of course, always enjoy watching UTA volleyball and it was great to finally share this with my daughter!! There were also about 15-20 UTA Alumni Volleyball players that also attended Saturday nights match. Hopefully we will be able to make this happen once every year. It was great to see a few women I played with, that played before me as well as after, it's always fun catching up! I forgot my camera, but thanks to Jennifer Cross, she sent me a few pictures of Olivia. I'm so proud to say Olivia loved watching the game, she sat perched on my lap the entire night intently watching the game, and when she would get excited she would hit her hands on the rail, it was adorable! The loud noise, whistles blowing nor the buzzer sounding fazed her at all, it was great! She's going to be my little athlete!!
I HAD SO MUCH FUN WATCHING VOLLEYBALL!

Okay, I know I have been slacking with this blog but things have been very crazy for me lately. Work has been a mess- very busy with a few people on vacation and it has been hectic trying to cover for them while they have been out. AND I'M EXHAUSTED, LIV'S IN BED AROUND 7PM AND I FOLLOW ABOUT 9PM. Anyways back to Liv...She was 6 1/2 months when she had her 6 month check up...It went great except for those dang shots! She was 20.2 pounds (75%) and 27 inches long (90%). She is sitting up great but she wants nothing to do with crawling yet. She loves to stand and does very well if you stand her up next to the couch or chair, etc and just let her hold on and stand there. She has been eating the cereal puffs for awhile now, she does great to pick them up but she is still working on putting them in her mouth.
My sister Sarah and her family, husband Luis and their four beautiful children, Luis 6 yrs, Damien 5 yrs, Alicia Justin (AJ) 4 yrs and Ethan 1 yr were here for a week during the month of August. It was so fun having them here, I wish they could have stayed longer. Liv had a blast playing with all her little cousins and was so sad when they left! Enjoy the pictures!

My camera died early in the night so unfortunately I was not able to capture pictures of all the family members that came over....There was probably easily 50 people at my parents house. Hopefully Liv and I will make it back for Thanksgiving, if not we will be back for Christmas! WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME, WE MISS EVERYONE!!

Olivia went on her first trip and plane ride. We were supposed to leave DFW airport Wed, July 29th at 2:30 pm and return Tues, Aug 4th. Our flight ended up getting canceled because the Flight Attendant broke the door. She was having trouble closing the door and ended up busting it. This sucked, however because we had an infant we were put on the next flight out which was at 6:30 pm. We got into Moline, IL a little after 9 pm and we still had an hour drive to my parents house. Olivia was perfect all day up until we got in the car to drive to my parents house. She was exhausted and cried the majority of the way there until she fell asleep We got to DFW airport at 12 pm and arrived in the Moline, IL airport shortly after 9 pm, and then got to my parents house a little after 10 pm. IT WAS AN EXTREMELY LONG DAY!!
WE HAD A BLAST!!!The weather in Dubuque, IA was fabulous, It was in the 70's and low 80 degrees the entire time we were there. My mom had the windows open in the house- no air conditioning needed (I miss this)!! Olivia got to meet almost all of the Walker's, except my sister Sarah and her Family could not make it, but they hope to be stopping in Arlington before they move to Georgia sometime in August, YEAH!! My brother Jared had a baseball tournament while we were there and his team won!! My mom also had over a bunch of my relatives while we were there as well, so Olivia got a crash course with meeting a bunch of her Breitbach relatives and cousins. ENJOY THE PICTURES!
